Kintsugi

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — a metaphor for embracing our flaws and imperfections.


Wabi-sabi is the view or thought of finding beauty in every aspect of imperfection in nature. It is about the aesthetic of things in existence, that are “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”.

It is about celebrating imperfections and living simply. “Everyone goes through tough times and leading a life of perfection isn’t necessarily realistic,


Many times, we try so hard to live up to the “image” and expectations of others. And we get despondent and sad when we fall short of those expectations. Similarly as yogis, we try to do that perfect pose or attempt a more advanced pose, and we get sad when we are unable to reach the ‘ideal’. All the poses do is to build a strong flexible body and we use that body to push the mental boundaries and perceived limitations.


To discover Moksha (freedom) in the body and who we are. We are as we are. Living in the flow of life and having trust wherever Life takes us.
